Dr. James Zhong

Dr. James Zhong is a dedicated orthodontist with a passion for transforming lives through beautiful smiles and enhanced self-confidence. He pursued both his undergraduate and dental education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and now, with three years of specialized training, Dr. Zhong has honed his skills to provide exceptional orthodontic care. 

What sets Dr. Zhong apart is not just his professional expertise but a personal connection to his field. Having been a patient in the orthodontic residency clinic at UNC, he experienced firsthand the transformative impact of orthodontic treatment on his life. The confidence gained through his own orthodontic journey inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry and orthodontics. Remarkably, over a decade later, Dr. Zhong completed his specialty training in the same residency where he was once a grateful patient. 

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Zhong values the personal aspects of life. He has been with his beautiful wife for over six years, and they share their home with two beloved dogs. Dr. Zhong and his wife are avid food enthusiasts, embarking on culinary adventures both near and far. In their free time, they enjoy experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and cherishing moments with family and their furry companions.
